The park is owned by the City of Walnut Ridge, with the Walnut Ridge Airport Commission as the controlling body. The Walnut Ridge Economic Development team is the sole authority for the 159.4 acres located in the industrial park.
The Regional Airport and Industrial Park covers 2,200 acres of industrial-zoned property. Approximately one half of the property is used by industry, while the remaining half is leased farmland.
In addition to those in the industrial park, there are industries located throughout the county.

Workforce
Lawrence County has a civilian labor force of 7,350, 6,800 of whom are employed. Approximately 550 are unemployed for an unemployment rate of 7.5 percent.
In 2005 the total personal income for Lawrence County was $333,645,000. Per capita income in 2005 was $19,469.
