The Chamber's goal, as established by the Board of Directors, is to promote the economic development of Lawrence County and to improve the standard of living of its population by encouraging the location of industry and businesses within its boundaries and by promoting and/or sponsoring activities that promote community development.

The Chamber holds monthly board meetings, as well as quarterly meetings for the entire membership. Regular Business After Hours events are held, and an annual banquet is held to present honors and review the year. The Chamber is also involved in special events such as business expos, business grand openings and festivals.

Operating as a volunteer Chamber, we employ a full-time administrative assistant and a volunteer Board of Directors elected from our membership.

The Chamber has several standing committees including Executive Committee, Economic Development Committee, Banquet/Quarterly Meeting Committee, Events/Merchants Committee, Tourism Committee, Marketing Committee, Finance Committee and Membership Committee.

The Lawrence County Chamber welcomes anyone who wishes to see the county thrive to become involved. Memberships are available for businesses or individuals.
